In the constant hustle of young adulthood — the resumes, internships, realistic goal-setting, ass-kissing and whore-ish self-promotion that it takes to try and make something of yourself in one's salad days and beyond — many young men and women grow tired of the game and just say "F**k it", taking whatever job or girlfriend/boyfriend that comes along and simply settle.
