Wrestling: File Under "Sports"

Most may not know, but I wrestled for about five seconds in high school, until a barking redneck made a hat out of my elbow, tore my cartilage and forced me into an early retirement before my career even began. But I wish I had used the internet back in 1996, 'cause if I had, I would have seen a video like this. And I would have learned that I just didn't have the moves to make it in wrestling in the first place. I had no business being out there. Wrestling is a sport for world class athletes...

Athletes who hypnotize with their athleticism, confuse with their nimble agility, pin by neutralizing your backup with Middle Eastern mysticism and, of course, worm like motherfuckin' worms:

Young Buffalo

Their image is a little rough, but that's true for most young bands. I'd like to see some ID from the drummer.

Hold Muuuh Diiiick

You may remember the guy who "put the team on his back" in a game of Madden and scored a winning touchdown against the Saints. If not, this should still give you a laugh.

G-Side

I don't care too much for the rap, but this is pretty easy on the ears. Plus, they're out of Huntsville, and you know what kind of talent that city is usually known for.

Food is good.

This isn't snarky or sarcastic at all. Just another sign that Raleighwood is growing and that there continue to be more cool, forward-thinking people doing new and great things to make downtown Raleigh thrive and improve. There has been talk of this for a while, and I think it'd be pretty swell if it happens. So word, ya' dirty hippies.

New Track from FTP EP

Hot off the mailing list, Foster The People have finally released a track from their upcoming Pumped Up Kids EP due out on iTunes at the end of the month. If the rest of the them are anything like the first two, we could be looking at a future cook kids album of the year. Sorry for the horrible quality. Still trying to figure out this Blogger thing.
