Have you seen my Boner?

Boner alert!

According to media reports, actor Andrew Koening, best known for his recurring role playing 'Boner' on the sitcom Growing Pains, is missing after visiting friends in Canada. From CNN:

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- When former "Growing Pains" actor Andrew Koenig missed his flight home to Los Angeles from Vancouver, British Columbia, last week, his father became worried.

Walter Koenig, an actor known for playing Pavel Chekov in the original "Star Trek" series, had just received a letter from his son that had a "despondent tone," according to a family statement on the father's Web site.

Two days later -- on February 18 -- the elder Koenig called Vancouver police to report his 41-year-old son missing, Detective Raymond Payette said.

"Andrew has recently been despondent and his family and friends are concerned for his well-being," a police statement said.

His parents last talked on the phone to their son on February 9 -- a week before he failed to board his flight home, the family statement said.

"Andrew was suffering from depression at the time of his disappearance," the family said.

Koenig, who was in Canada to visit friends, was last seen at a Vancouver bakery on February 14, two days before the missed flight, police said.

First off, I can't ever hear The Name Game in real life ('cause I hear The Name Game A LOT in my day-to-day routine), without hearing in my head (other than the voices that tell me to burn things) the episode where everyone starts singing, "Boner Boner bo Boner, bananafanna fo Foner, fee fi...". Classic. And speaking of that, that was some kind of FCC coup d'tat by NBC or whoever in the mid-1980s. No way any of those spineless suits that fired Conan would have the ballsac girth today to put a character in primetime named Boner. Well, maybe Fox.

Anyway, I'd love to sit here all day making double-entendres with the character Boner and an erect penis, and say "Let's all play 'Find the Boner'", but this story is sad. Let's find Boner, y'all.

The colder temperatures in Canada should make for a tough search. Best of luck on finding Boner.
